Aaron Francis and Lucinda Strafford were one of the couples who were voted out together on this year's Love Island.
The Love Islanders fired up a romance while on the hit show, but after leaving the villa it was quickly reported that the pair had gone their separate ways, and Lucinda was pictured holding hands with her other villa beau Brad McClleland.
Setting the record straight, Aaron, 24, spoke to OK! about their decision to discontinue their romance.
"We were only really seeing each other for a couple of days in the villa. I think for everyone at home it may have seemed a lot more serious than it was," Aaron explained.

He added: "We were both attracted to each other and we both got on really well, but we hadn't ever discussed anything further.
"We didn't really have time in the villa and then we separated and it was like like 'cool, you go to Brighton, I'll go to London then.'"
Aaron, who recently met up with Lucinda for shopping and a meal, added that while there's an attraction, it's not something either of them decided to pursue on the outside.
The reality star continued: "We get on really well. There's an attraction there but if you don't feel like it's going to be a proper thing then you're not going to pursue it or anything like that. We'll just be friends, but it has been good."
Fresh out of the villa, Aaron admitted he'd have liked to have stuck around for the Casa Amor segment of the show.
Aaron, who is a model with the renowned Linden Staub, admitted it would have been "jokes," but he believes he would've stayed loyal to Lucinda.

"I would've spoken to Clarisse, but I don't think I would've coupled up with her.
"With me and Lucinda, because she thinks she's not my type she says that if we'd have stayed I would've come back with Clarisse.
" I asked her why she's so certain, and I said well if you don't even trust and we've only been together for a short time then…"
Love Island 2021
Despite the Casa Amor love triangle surrounding Liam, Lillie and Millie, Aaron is convinced original couple Liam and Millie will be crowned champs.
Aaron explained: "Liam kissing Lillie.. well, I don't think they did as much as she said, like the cuddling in bed and stuff, because she showed the morning after how frustrated she was about that and telling the girls. So I do think she exaggerated but obviously Millie is going to believe her.
"They were getting on really well, and me and Lucinda were nowhere near their level.
"I still think they're going to win. He will get her back. He can chat and he's chilled and he doesn't rush what he's saying and he likes her a lot, so hopefully he can show that."
