Louise Thompson says she ‘survived the second time’ after another terrifying hospital dash
Louise Thompson has opened up about “surviving” following the 32 year old’s recent hospital dash.
Made In Chelsea favourite Louise faced another hospital admission last week after suffering a haemorrhage at home.
While it was an undeniably scary ordeal, mum-of-one Louise, who shares one year old Leo with husband-to-be Ryan Libbey, appears to be in good spirits after returning home.
Sharing a snap of her smiling as she dazzled in a black crop top with a mesh long-sleeved top, Louise penned: “You know the funny thing about surviving the second time round is that you know you’re not just lucky. You understand the capacity of the human body. You know how strong you are.
"You understand what modern medicine is capable of and what you can withstand. Wow you can withstand an awful lot."
She continued: “I'm trying to reframe it as reassuring. It’s reassuring that I’ve come and gone from hospital (unexpectedly) and survived each time.
“I never thought it would happen to me, and it did. Then I never thought it would happen again. But it kinda did. So I guess nothing in life is for certain. NOTHING. But the good thing is that I can learn from it. I have learnt that I DON’T want to live my life in fear anymore… and I’m definitely not going to undo all of my hard work. I have great systems and support in place now.”
The reality TV star went on to say that she’s wants to resume to normal life as soon as possible as she discussed the ways she’s managed to keep her spirits up.
“This last week I’ve managed to distract any ruminating/analysing/damn awful, circulating, obsessive thoughts with the thought of lying there wishing I had more time with my boy which then makes me shift gear and feel v v VVV present and forces me to really soak up the good stuff,” Louise explained.
“A little blessing… or just another mind game.”
Louise’s doting fiancé Ryan has stuck by her side throughout her illness and labelled her as a “warrior” following her recent surgery.
Giving an update on her last week, he wrote: “Louise is home now, stable and doing well. She’s a warrior! Leo has picked up impetigo from nursery. Dad is tired.”
Ryan added that the family-of-three were supposed to be landing in St Lucia on Thursday, 2 February, for a two week break, but their holiday plans were halted.
