Kerry Katona has revealed that she's finally found the man she's always dreamed of in boyfriend Ryan Mahoney.
The 39-year-old singer has had a sting of failed and toxic relationships in the past, but speaking to Closer Magazine, Kerry has shared that she's happier than ever with her 'perfect' beau.
The pair – who live together with Kerry's five children – have been dating for a little over 18 months, and the former Atomic Kitten star has credited Ryan as the 'opposite' of her previous boyfriends.
She told Closer: "Ryan is unlike anyone I've ever dated before. He's very quiet, very shy, very private – the complete opposite to me".
Kerry praised the personal trainer for his ability to hold a steady job as well as being an amazing role model for her five young children.
"He's the first person I've ever dated who actually has his own job. And he's so hands-on with the kids, doing the school runs when I can't. The kids adore him".
"It's finally a normal relationship and it took me a while to get used to that. I'm extremely happy!" she added.
The former singer met first husband Brian McFadden in 1998 and the couple welcomed daughter Molly,18, and Lilly-Sue,16, before splitting up five years later.
She then went on to marry Mark Croft with whom she shares daughter Heidi and son Max. The pair split in 2010 and four years, Kerry reunited with former flame George Kay who she had Dylan-Jorge with.
Despite their bitter split in 2017, Kerry faced even more heartbreak last summer as George passed away following a drug overdose.
After going through so much heartache because of her relationships over the past number of years, th 39-year-old admitted that she found it difficult to open up to love again.
This wariness of falling in love came to a head last December when the Celebs Go Dating star temporarily called time on her relationship with Ryan because it all got 'too much' for her.
"I put it on pause because I was so scared. I was like 'Do I really want to get into another relationship?'. After my first marriage broke down, I felt like a failure as a wife and as a mother, and I was so eager to fix it that I would rush into relationships".
And Kerry -who got engaged to first husband Brian McFadden after just three months and to Mark Croft after just five weeks – says she's no longer in a hurry to walk down the isle or to have more kids.
"We've been together for a year and a half, and I'm normally pregnant, engaged, married and divorced by now. It's different this time, there's no rush for anything".
"And you know what? Marriage and babies actually scare me now. I'm happy with how things are."
