Kate Ferdinand has shared her gratitude to fans who showed their support after she shared a candid snap of her bruised post-baby body.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Kate, 29, said she felt “overwhelmed” by the positive comments and messages she received after candidly shared a photo of her holding her newborn son Cree, who she and hubby Rio Ferdinand introduced to the world on Christmas Eve.
As she posted on her stories, she shared a photo of the view from her bed, showing a bay window with white roller blinds rolled halfway down.
Meanwhile Kate’s adorable dog Ronnie snuggling in her bed as she updated her 1.4million followers.

She wrote on top: “Good morning everyone” followed by a white heart emoji.
Kate, who married Rio Ferdinand in a stunning ceremony in Turkey in 2019, continued: “Happy 2021, I hope you all had a fabulous new year.
“2021 update so far, showering and fresh PJs are still happening. Haven’t made it into clothes yet … Hoping at some stage in 2021 I will get dressed”.
As she drew an arrow to her pup Ronnie Kate added: “Daddy has gone to work so Ronnie has snuck in the bed”.
She then thanked her fans for their support on her previous post as Kate wrote: “I was overwhelmed by all of your comment on my most recent picture.
“Sometimes social media can be such a negative place but since sharing this post it was been so positive for me.
“I was nervous about sharing my reality but so glad I did. So many of you have had similar experiences and share the same feelings and emotions… It’s nice to know we are not alone
“Thank you for all of your comments I have read them all” followed by a praying emoji.

It comes after Kate posted a photo of herself holding her adorable newborn son Cree and showing off large bruises on the top of her thigh.
She candidly opened up on her birth experience and revealed she had an emergency c-section in the caption.
Kate wrote: “I wanted to share this with you. This is me … and let me add this is a much better version of me than the last 10 days.
“After having an emergency c section, and a bit of a traumatic birth I’ve been completely wiped out.
“The happiness has been overwhelming but so have the tears and emotions, I’ve felt like I can’t do what I’m meant to be doing with Cree as I haven’t been able to change or feed him consistently which has had me feeling all types of guilt, for Cree, Rio & that I can’t be doing what I normally do for the kids. It’s a whirlwind I just wasn’t expecting … but at the same time the most perfect whirlwind.”
