Curtis Pritchard kisses dancer he denied cheating on Maura Higgins with

Curtis Pritchard has been pictured kissing the dancer he previously denied cheating on Maura Higgins with.

The 24-year-old dancer coupled up with Maura, 29, on the 2019 series of Love Island, eventually coming fourth in the final, but they split up back in March.

And while a rep for Curtis claimed that he was just friends with dancer Amber Pierson, who he had grown close to earlier this year, it seems their relationship has blossomed.

In pictures obtained by The Sun, the reality star was seen kissing Amber after taking her on a double date with his brother AJ and his girlfriend Abbie Quinnen.

The pair were seen strolling through a park after dinner, with Curtis putting his arm around Amber’s shoulders.

This comes just months after a rep for Pritchard denied that he and Amber were anything but friends, after they grew close while Amber dance on Strictly star AJ’s tour.

A source told The Sun in March: ‘Curtis and Amber are really close – he’s been using her as a shoulder to cry on as his relationship to Maura fell apart.

‘They’re always hanging out together backstage at rehearsals and partying together. He’s actually seen her a lot more than he’s seen Maura these past two weeks.’

The newspaper also alleged that Maura confronted her then-boyfriend over claims he had cheated, after being tagged in a tweet alleging Curtis had been ‘hugging and kissing’ a blonde dancer.

Rumours circulated that Curtis and Amber had stepped up their relationship after the professional dancer joined the Love Island star and his brother on a trip to Cornwall last week.

AJ’s girlfriend Abbie is close friends with Amber, and the dancer was pictured in some of Quinnen’s social media snaps from the getaway.

Back in March, Irish star Maura confirmed that she and Curtis had ended things, writing on social media: ‘Curtis and I have made the decision to separate. We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.

‘There is no easy way to get through a breakup and no bad feeling on either side. We tried to make it work, but it wasn’t meant to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future.’

There had been claims at the time that Maura’s closeness with Dancing On Ice partner Alexander Demetriou had caused tension in the relationship.

Maura hasn’t gone public with anyone since her split from Curtis, although fellow islander Chris Taylor was forced to deny anything was going on between them.

Curtis hooked up with Maura on Love Island after originally being coupled up with Amy Hart – and while he went back to the former flight attendant after Casa Amor, he ended things with Amy when he returned.

This wouldn’t have been so bad – only Amy had been coming back in to tell Curtis that she loved him.

Awkward.
