The 60-year-old presents a weekly slot and, despite it being firmly a radio broadcast, that hasn’t stopped her dressing up for the occasion.

The presenter’s tiny waist and slim pins were impossible to miss in a leather miniskirt.

The skimpy black number clung to her shape as she posed for a selfie in what appeared to be her wardrobe.

Carol beamed at the camera after teaming her racy piece with over-the-knee boots.

Not content with her head-turning bottom half, the mother-of-two added a bright orange top.

The long-sleeved get-up featured black detailing on the neckline and arms, further emphasising her envy-inducing body.

Carol finished off her look by wearing her blonde tresses down in a natural wave, alongside smokey eye make-up.

It wasn’t long before her 188,000 followers on the pictue-sharing app and 475,000 on the micro-blogging site rushed to the comments.

User castlestaff gushed: “So beautiful xx,” while kieron_wood010 told her: “You’re stunning Carol.”

“Blimey Carol, stop with the fantastic photos I’m trying to do something,” quipped drewarkart.

While peterchatterley simply posted: “Looking amazing Carol xx.”

The small screen regular told her fans she was wearing “BBC Radio Wales colours today” in the caption to her uploads.

She continued: “Off to work… tune in from 130-2pm @bbcsounds.

“With amazing @mrscmcguinness talking about her new No 1 bestselling book A Beautiful Nightmare and her and @mcguinness.paddy incredibly powerful documentary on BBC this week.

“My Family and Autism… I’ve seen it. It’s raw and wonderful.”

Carol went on: “Also the one and only Alfie @gareththomasofficial having a laugh about his new panto starting next week… oh yes he is… oh no he isn’t.

“And with me all the way this week my CYNTAF DAHHHHHLING… the DRUMATHON King who’s just broken all records for charity raising @owainwynevans.”(sic)

Prior to heading to the studio, Carol remarked on the weather as Storm Arwen batters the UK.

She tweeted: “Holy hell… don’t know if you’ve noticed but it’s bloomin windy out there tonight!

“Woke me up at 3am so been sitting here with a pot of tea thinking how absolutely ridiculous my life is, and laughing… Happy morning everyone.”
